A 300 Level student of the Department of Electrical Engineering, OLAFISOYE, Micheal Olumide (EEE/09/0045) has been awarded an annual scholarship worth One Hundred Thousand Naira only (N100,000) by David Seriki Tomori-Fapohunda(DSTF) Foundation.

The Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University, on behalf of Senate, Staff and Students, commiserates with the University's Chancellor and Chairman of Osun State Council of Obas, Oba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II, the Ooni of Ife on the transition to eternity of the late Alayeluwa Oba Oladele Olashore, Aloko of Iloko, the Ajagbusi-Ekun, the Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesaland.

In view of the recent tragic death of 153 Nigerians in the plane crash of Sunday, 3rd June, 2012, and as part of the University’s respect for the departed souls, the general public is hereby informed that the first UNIOSUN Distinguished Guest Lecture earlier scheduled for Tuesday, June 5, 2012 is hereby postponed. A new date will be announced later.
