The Management of Osun State University has approved that all final year students of the institution should resume immediately, in their various Campuses, to finalise their 2012/2013 second semester examinations/Project defence before Christmas holiday.

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Osun State University has commended the Director of Research and Linkages of the University, Professor Adebooye and other scientists. Professor Olawoyin gave this commendation at the opening ceremony of IDRC held at the Main Auditorium of Osun State University, Osogbo on Monday, 2nd December, 2013.

In a bid to complement the effort of the State and enhance food security in the State of Osun and southwest Nigeria, the Osun State University will, on Monday, 2nd December, 2013, distribute cheques to indigenous vegetable farmers’ cooperatives who are participating in the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) project on the production and utilisation of indigenous Nigerian vegetables.

It was a double honour for the duo of UNIOSUN Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council/Pro-Chancellor at the maiden convocation ceremony of Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu on Thursday 21 November, 2013. The Chancellor, His Imperial Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II, the Ooni of Ife Kingdom and the Pro-Chancellor, Professor Gabriel Adesiyan Olawoyin, SAN were honoured by the Institution.
